August Challenge 2013

As Summer comes to a slow and hot end the kids are preparing to return to school and parents are breathing a sigh of relief, welcoming the upcoming quietness (smiles).  Stories will be told about the best vacation ever and stores like Wal-Mart are stocking up ready for the mad dash on tax free weekend.

With all the fuss going on we at Mema's decided that this would be a great time to honor the start of school and end of summer vacations so:

August challenge is

"Anything Goes"
with two optional themes of
"Best Vacation"  or "Back to School"

You choose which theme to use

You can combine your entry with other challenges where allowed and you can submit 3 entries.  You can find my basic rules for claiming a prize under the RULES tab located above.

UPDATE:    Beginning August our winners will be selected on the 15th and the 30th.  This change is to make it easier for the groups that advertise our challenges.  The first winner will be selected on August 15th and the second winner will be selected on August 30th.  Winners will be posted under the WINNERS tab located above.  Enter early and you'll get two chances to win.

Additionally, there will be a bonus winner at the end of the month so make sure you visit "My Enchanted Paper Creations" to enter and for more instructions.

This month we are giving away a gift certificate to Saturated Canary digital store.  You will be able to browse Krista's gorgeous digi images and make your own choice.  There are so many to choose from so the decision will not be an easy one, should you be our first lucky winner.

Our second winner will win a shopping spree from our newest and most gracious sponsor.

This month I would like to welcome Paper and Stones to Mema's family.

Paper and Stones is offering is offering one lucky winner a $25 shopping spree in their online store.

A Little About Paper and Stones: Prior to opening their shop, Lynn was a Clinical Specialist in Oncology Research. After being a nurse for over 40 years, she decided to up her number of craft fairs and shows each year and open a shop for individuals who did not want to buy a pad with 48 sheets of paper when they only wanted one. So she began to create paper kits, card kits, and tool kits. Lynn was so successful with her kits that shewould often sell out at the craft fairs and have to make more for her store. Since then she has learned to break her products into manageable quantities and offer them at realistic prices. If there is something you'd like to see in her shop just let her know and if you'd like to be added to her mailing list for sale notices and new products (monthly), just send your first name and email address with the word PAPERZ in the subject line and Lynn will get you added.

So without further ado, let the creative juices flow and get this challenge underway.  To help get you guys started my girls and I have created a few cards using our newest sponsor's products.
